Being a holistic one-stop platform specifically designed for HoReCa suppliers and business owners, Saladplate provides an O2O community and marketplace for the food and hospitality trade. As the HoReCa industry is experiencing a digital transformation, Saladplate was seeking a new identity to present themselves and their brand-new digital experience to fully maximise their business potential.
Saladplate is the first-ever HoReCa platform with such offerings in Asia, meaning that there was no existing case for us to refer to. Furthermore, as the client wanted to underscore their uniqueness with a distinctive design without overpowering the products and brands on the platform, we had to ensure the presentation is clear and straight to the point.
Concerning the authenticity of Saladplate, we went for a clean UI for its website to keep the navigation intuitive. With it, the main ideas can be understood at a glance, which minimises the chance of users getting turned away by intricate UX. We built up a fresh yet professional brand image, portraying Saladplate as a trustworthy partner that wouldn’t overshadow any products or brands, striking a balance between client’s preference and the market needs. Brand assets and guidelines that are compatible for both online and offline environments were also created catering to the client’s needs.
